Astroport on Neutron FAQs: Bridging, geoblocks and more

Within hours of Astroport’s launch on Neutron, the outpost took over the top spot on Astroport’s 24 hour volume leaderboard, and on-chain liquidity continues to grow. Ready to get involved but unsure where to start? Check out the FAQs below:

Q: Where can I swap Neutron-based tokens?

A: Connect to the swap page at app.astroport.fi/swap and be sure to select the Neutron network.

Q: Where can I LP on Neutron?

A: Connect to the pools page at app.astroport.fi/pools and be sure to select the Neutron network.

Q: How can I bridge assets to Neutron?

A: Use app.astroport.fi/bridge to bridge ASTRO. For all other tokens, use TFM or Satellite. Occasionally, bridge transactions may revert. If this happens, it could take 10 or minutes to receive your tokens back. Then, you'll need to resubmit your bridging transaction. If you encounter difficulties, reach out to the community in the Astroport Discord.

Q: Why can’t I see the liquidity that I locked on Neutron during the launch event?

A: Your locked liquidity should be visible on the Neutron lockdrop page. Those LP tokens are locked on Neutron but are actively being utilized by traders on Astroport. When your LP tokens are unlocked, you should be able to withdraw them from Neutron at which time they would be visible on Astroport.

Q: Will the liquidity that I locked in Neutron’s launch event earn NTRN and ASTRO rewards?

A: Neutron launch event participants may accrue NTRN rewards, which should be visible on Neutron’s dashboard. All liquidity locked in Neutron’s launch event currently earns a portion of the trading fees on Astroport. The Astroport and Neutron communities could post governance proposals to reward LPs with ASTRO and/or NTRN, but that hasn’t happened yet. If and when it does, there should be a clear process for claiming those rewards. Any relevant updates will be published on Twitter at @astroport_fi.

Q: Where can I get NTRN to use as gas fees for my first swap?

A: You can use ATOM! In the Keplr popup click the fee options dropdown.

Q: Why can’t I see my vested NTRN when I connect with Astroport?

A: You’ll need to manually claim your vested tokens before they’ll appear on Astroport. You can do that here: https://launch.neutron.org/dashboard.

Q: How can I verify transactions that I’ve made on Astroport or Neutron with a block explorer?

A: Mintscan supports all Neutron transactions (including those that happen on Astroport) here: https://www.mintscan.io/neutron

Q: I’ve connected to Astroport and selected the Neutron network, but I can’t swap for Neutron (NTRN) tokens or see NTRN liquidity on the pools page. Why not?

A: Prohibited jurisdictions including the United States are not eligible to transact with Neutron (NTRN) tokens. Transacting with these tokens will automatically be blocked from the user interface at astroport.fi until the token is sufficiently decentralized. If you believe you’re erroneously being blocked, please delete your cookies/cache and try the UI again or reach out to the Astroport community in Discord for assistance.

Q: Why are NTRN swaps and liquidity pools geoblocked for U.S. users?

A: The rapidly changing regulatory situation in the U.S. could potentially put project contributors at risk. Out of an abundance of caution, the UI at astroport.fi actively blocks U.S.-based access. Once NTRN is sufficiently decentralized, any geoblocks can be removed.

Q. I’m using Ledger and encountering errors. Is there a fix?

A. Some users have experienced errors with Ledger. Please try updating to the latest Ledger firmware to address them.

Q: Where can I learn more?

A: The Astroport community gathers in Discord. Feel free to post your questions there!
